Toppr, an online test preparation platform in India, has acquired rival EasyPrep for an undisclosed amount.
“Toppr’s main focus has always been towards building great products and having EasyPrep team onboard gives us more ammunition to execute our plans faster. This acquisition also helps us reinforce our dominant position. In April, more than three million questions would be practiced on our platform and we believe we are just getting started,” said Zishaan Hayath, Co-founder and CEO of Toppr.
Founded in 2013, Toppr is an online test preparation that provides students with insights into their strong and weak areas through which they can effectively decide where to invest their time in practicing for the entrance examination. It also predicts what rank they will have on the basis of their current performance and how they can improve their rank. The analysis gives the student a real picture and motivation to improve and reach IIT, the most premier technology school in India.

Toppr has a team of over 100 members and is serving over 150,000 plus students across India.

EasyPrep, founded by Vivek Sharma and Ankit Saraswat, is a customised exam creation platform for schools, coaching institutes and teachers and an exam preparation platform for students. Easyprep provides an online and offline platform for schools, coaching institutes and teachers to create exam papers for the their classroom teaching, for students assessment and for helping students prepare for competitive examinations
